So, a few words on why we are doing this:

Mike had a bright idea!

We all eat too much!

We all drink too much!

None of us exercise enough!

We think its hard although do accept that if a pantomine horse and Emu can do it, maybe its not in the same category as a polar expedition!

We have all reached our mid-thirties and clearly want to prove we are as athletic as we were in our teens! No, its not a mid-life crisis, but probably would be if we were in our 40's!!

We want to raise a shed load of money for the NSPCC who do an absolutely fantastic job working to end child cruelty in the UK.  So often we can be oblivious to the suffering and neglect that children in our own country experience, yet it goes on and through the NSPCC we can all do our bit to help stamp it out.

Please dig deep and be generous, it really is for a great cause and what's more it will make all the pain worthwhile. Thank you.
