On April 22nd I am going to attempt to run the London Marathon. I am doing this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan is a charity that provides invaluable support and care to thousands of people but has also done so for beloved members of my family.

For those of you that find it hard to believe I might be able to make it 26.2 miles, whatever the cause, the photo on this page is proof I made it half the distance this weekend. This is also the reason I have waited until 4 weeks to go to start fundraising, I needed to know I stood a chance of making it before asking people to support me!

As well as running the miles I will also donate £10 for everyone that sponsors me £1 per mile, which will make a £26 donation into £36 for Macmillan.
