GWENDOLINE JOYCE ALTENDORFF aged 88 passed away peacefully on Monday 26th November 2012 at Croydon University Hospital after a brief illness.

An extraordinary Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother; whose life was dedicated to raising, nurturing (particularly feeding) and loving her children and extended family. She will always be deeply loved and greatly missed by all her family and friends. Her life was full of adventure, courage, leadership, dignity, personal growth, contemplation and benevolence.

A good life, well spent and truly worthy of celebration.
