Story
I started this fundraising page last year in memory of my Mum, Delyth who passed away from cancer in 2002 aged just 39 years old leaving behind me and my two sisters.
Since starting my fundraising, my Nain has passed away. My Nain was my last living grandparent so it hit me and my family very hard as she played such a huge role in all of our lives.
I completed the Shrewsbury half marathon last year and again this year along with the Shrewsbury 10k and the Conwy half marathon.
After completing those challenges, I am now doing the Race the Train Tywyn in memory of my Nain, who passed from cancer also. The run is taking place in my Nain’s home town where she lived her life on what would have been her 90th birthday so this is a special and emotional one and i would be grateful for any support. All proceeds will again go to Cancer Research UK, I am hoping to reach my end goal of £2000.
I have already signed up for 2 more half marathons this year and I am hoping to complete atleast 10 next year with the hope of completing the London Marathon in the next few years also!!! So this is my last bit of fundraising until the London Marathon in afew years time!!
