Story

18 months ago while we were in lockdown and no one was going on holiday it seems like a good idea to do something in this country.

Always keen on cycling and always up for a challenge I decided along with my sister Nesta to ride the 1000 miles from Lands End to John O’Groats.

We will be setting off on the 4th September 2022 from Lands End and arriving at John O’Groats on the 17th September 2022.

We are riding in honour of our late brother David who died in May 2020.
He was a great advocate of Clowns in the Sky and raised money for them almost until his dying day.
One of his last events was swimming the Serpentine, even though he had lung cancer, absolutely nothing put him off from trying to help this fabulous charity.

Myself and Nesta have decided to continue his legacy and raise money for the charity to support children with brain tumours and their families across the UK.

We would love and value your support and any donations you can make to the charity on behalf of our 1000 mile ride.

This will be greatly appreciated not only by us but by all the children who benefit from your generosity.

Help bring some smiles please.

Nesta & Gwyn

Clowns in the Sky is dedicated to the research and treatment of childhood brain tumours and to the welfare of affected children and their families. It's aim is to bring a smile to the face of a child and their family, by granting them a wish, which will provide distraction from their treatment. Clowns in the Sky offers discretionary support grants to enhance the quality of life for those who have been affected by childhood brain tumours.
