Myself (Hannah), my dad (Dermot), my boyfriend (Jonny) and one of my very best friends (Becky) are all running the Belfast City Half Marathon in September in memory of my wonderful mum, Jacqui Breen, and to raise money for Cancer Research UK. My mum lost her life to ovarian cancer in January of this year, and her loss has left a huge gap in the lives of her family and friends. We know that unfortunately this is not an uncommon occurrence, and most people have been affected in one way or another by cancer. My mum knew that the only way to someday bring an end to this terrible disease is through funding research, and so that is what we aim to do. Any donations, whatever size, will be very much appreciated, and will go towards helping to end cancer sooner.
