My life has been personally touched by cancer and I’ve seen the amazing services and support provided by MacMillan. So when I was persuaded to run my first Half Marathon with sixteen colleagues and consultants from Sancta Maria Hospital then it had to be for Macmillan.

The team consists of experienced runners who have run many marathons down to newbie's like me whose last race was the egg and spoon race in Junior School.

Everybody is running for different reasons but for me personally I wanted to be part of this great event and support this magnificent charity (but I'm sure I shall regret it the day after the race)!
