HP Interns Three Peaks Challenge · 24 May 2014

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thank You for spending the time to visit our JustGiving page. This page is for collective donations towards the HP Interns 3 Peaks Challenge team.

On the 24 May, around 32 interns here at HP, will begin our challenge of the 3 highest mountains in the UK all within a 24 hour time period.

1)      Ben Nevis (Scotland) – 10.5 miles & 1,352 meters of ascent

2)      Scafell Pike (England) – 6 miles & 989 meters of ascent

3)      Snowdon (Wales) – 7 miles & 732 metres of ascent

In total it is a journey of nearly 10,000 feet of ascent and over 22 miles in distance.

The Prince’s Trust gives practical and financial support to the young people who need it most. They help develop key skills, confidence and motivation to enable young people to move into work, education or training. It is a charity HP works very hard to support and is a key priority of the intern community each year to raise as much money as possible for.

Many Thanks!
