Story
The
HR Distinction Awards celebrate the outstanding contribution that innovatively
designed and superbly executed HR strategies make to business performance and
the bottom line.
This year, we are introducing a voluntary contribution fee for the HR Distinction
Awards, enabling us to provide much needed support to the important work of The
Prince’s Trust. Talent is at the heart of most of our discussions at the
HR Business Directors Summit – how to spot it, how to reward it, how to keep
it.
The
Prince’s Trust works to ensure that the many gifts and talents of under
privileged young people in the UK are nurtured - they believe that every
young person should have the chance to succeed, regardless of their background
and personal challenges. They work with thousands of young people each year to
break the cycle of deprivation, underachievement and unemployment through
transformational programmes. These life changing programmes give young people
the vital confidence, skills and work experience they need to take the next
steps towards independence and a brighter, better future.
We
hope that you will join in supporting this work as you make your entries to the
HR Distinction Awards – when completing your entry, you will be invited to
visit our Just Giving page to make a suggested contribution of £50 per
entry. This is a suggested contribution only – please feel free to be more
generous!
Every
entering company which contributes to The Prince’s Trust with their entries
will be acknowledged on our Thank You wall at the HR Distinction Awards Gala
Dinner, when we also look forward to announcing the total sum raised.
