This project will evaluate the acceptability and the comparative effectiveness of adjunctive treatment provided by homeopaths for patients with mild to moderate depression in addition to usual care.

 

A systematic literature review will be carried out in 2011. We plan to seek approval for the following pragmatic clinical trial to be embedded in and recruit from the ongoing NIHR CLAHRC funded South Yorkshire Cohort study. This multiple trials facility has ethical approval in principle for multiple pragmatic trials.
