We raise money and awareness to help the poor & forgotten in the Ummah.

Story

It is with great regret that we announce the launch of another emergency appeal to alleviate the suffering of the people of Syria. We will all be aware of the incredible events that have unfolded over the past few weeks with the current death toll now having passed 8,000.

The unabated brutal repression of the Syrian people continues at the hands of the Syrian authorities a year on whilst the world watches. We have spared you from the horrific images of this open massacre, many of which are women and children. We can't even begin to imagine the terror children are facing in places like Homs or Baba Amr, many of which are the same ages of our own sons and daughters. All they hear are cries upon cries, screams upon screams when they are shelled or shot at. We have instead shown you an image of this beautiful young girl whose hopes for peace and justice in Syria are clear on her face.

We have been given the opportunity to respond to this Crisis, just as we were given the opportunity the year before and the year before that. Let us respond as we have responded in our previous appeals.

The message is clear and a simple one. Please donate to this emergency appeal as much as you can.

100% of your donation (inc Gift aid) will be sent directly to Syria. Ummah Welfare Trust (UWT) are on the ground now in Syria to help alleviate the suffering with your money. Click now and donate.
