Story

The Health and Safety Executive’s management board is taking part in The Charity for Civil Servants' annual Walking Challenge.

All seven members of the management board – Selvin Brown,Richard Judge, Peter McNaught, David Murray, Karen Nightingall, Karen Russ and David Snowball – have taken up the challenge.

As a team, they are aiming to take 70,000 steps a day (10,000 each) –
4.5miles – between 9 May and 27 June. They will be posting their step countonline so you can see how many miles they have walked – improving their fitness and raising money for a good cause at the same time.

The aim is to raise at least £1000 for the charity, which
provides support including money, health and wellbeing services and for current, former and retired civil servants.

Your support will help them make a difference.
For example:

• £26 covers the cost of one Live Chat counselling session

• £100 pays for someone’s travel expenses to visit their
daughter in hospital

• £340 pays for children’s bunk beds for a family affected
by flooding

Please support the management board’s Walking Challenge – it’s for a great cause.
