We provide emergency medical care worldwide to people affected by conflict & disasters.

Story

For than 50 years and in more than 70 countries, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been providing urgently needed medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare – regardless of which country they're from, which religion they belong to or their political affiliations.

MSF delivers care directly rather than through local partner organizations. They set up and run medical services, train staff and respond to fast-moving emergencies, as well as longer-term crises. This means the money you trust to MSF is spent by MSF. When an emergency breaks– such as an earthquake, an epidemic or a conflict – MSF can respond immediately.

Financial assistance from Herbert Smith Freehills allows MSF to respond to emergencies as soon as they occur and give high-quality care to those who need it most. Your support enables MSF to offer
invaluable aid to those in need, all over the world.

Keep in mind that:

  • £10 could help buy oxygen masks for 14 children
  • £25 could help buy splints for three patients with broken legs
  • £50 could buy the personal protective equipment for a doctor treating Ebola
  • £100 could provide a folding stretcher to help patients who have suffered emergency trauma
