Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My local mosque 'Masjid Ayesha Tottenham' (aka Tottenham Mosque) is being rebuilt. It is part of the Islamic Community Centre. The plan is to build a two-storey multi-purpose building which will include Haringey's first ever purpose built youth club for Muslim youth. I've always been part of this youth club as a member and youth leader. The community in Tottenham has donated over £500,000 and half of the mosque/community centre has already been built. However, there's no more money in the kitty and we need another £500,000+ to complete the rebuilding project.

I'm going with a group of people to climb Ben Nevis, UK's highest mountain on 25 September 2010 inshallah. Collectively, we're hoping to raise quite a bit of money to help build our local mosque. So, please please sponsor me and help build a lasting legacy for Tottenham's Muslim community.

Please dig deep and donate now.
