The reality is that only 10% of children in low-income countries are able to read by the age of ten. We desperately need to support teachers’ development, which will improve children’s learning. We support teachers to provide children in lower-income countries with a better education.

Story

According to World Bank, learning poverty affects over 250 million children around the world, stifling their life chances. It is estimated that up to 80% of children in low-income countries remain unable to read and understand a simple text by the age of ten.

To build in-service teacher capacity through digital, high-impact programme and virtual community, to enrich both their lives and those of the children they teach.
