Hi! I am doing the Great North Swim to raise money for Dove House Hospice. This is a one mile open water swim in a section of Lake Windermere in early September 2010. I am not used to swimming in open water and have to wear a wet suit which will make the swimming more difficult, and together with water currents this will be quite a challenge.
