Story

Challenge: to climb the 3731m ascent to the summit of Kilimanjaro … at home.

Each LS tutor group (of 13 - students plus 1 or 2 members of staff) will start on Thursday and will follow the itinerary used by CMK: The Kili Experts

Thursday - 396m ascent - 1980 stairs - 152 stairs each

Friday - 719m ascent - 2595 stairs - 277 stairs each

Saturday - altitude acclimatisation day - 9k walk/run/cycle each

Sunday - altitude acclimatisation day - 7k walk/run/cycle each

Monday - 657m ascent - 3285 stairs - 253 stairs each

Tuesday - 778m ascent - 3890 stairs - 299 stairs each

Wednesday - 1181m ascent - 5905 stairs - 454 stairs each
