Hair today gone tomorrow! · 1 June 2018
Hi Everyone thank you for visiting my page. My wife Sara was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma just a few weeks ago. Thanks to the brilliant team at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth she is being well looked after and has already started her chemotherapy. Its not easy being diagnosed with cancer ..you are thrown into a parallel universe and find yourself speaking a totally new language all around chemo drugs, blood counts and different classifications of Lymphoma , then, on top of all that, your hair falls out! I thought I'd keep the missis company and go for the bald look this summer- hence a sponsored head shave to be held in the next week or so. Monies raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support who are an amazing charity supporting people with cancer and their carers. I'm aiming for £2001 , all donations big or small are most gratefully and joyfully received .thanks again and watch this space for the before and after shots including turban and scarf tying.
