Christians at St Peter’s Hall Green are joining with Muslim friends through ‘Families Together’ to support the project Afghan Women’s Education Centre (AWEC) a partner with Christian Aid in Kabul.  The project aims to set up a series of women’s ‘shuras’ to enable women to participate in decision-making and to think about the important role they have within their community.

 

Christian Aid and Islamic Relief are working together locally in Hall Green with Christians and Muslims to show that community partnership can bring about change both locally and internationally.
