Story

Over the last 5 years I have seen my Great Granny change and disappear. During this time she forgot who she was, who her family members were and even how to feed herself.

I also saw my Mamar and my family look after and care for her. They worried about her too. I saw them laugh with her and be sad to. I listened to the stories about all the funny and amazing things Granny used to do. She made me laugh lots of times even when she started to forget things.

She had lots and lots of dogs. She liked her hair to be a purple colour. She used to look after adults with learning difficulties. She travelled all over the world and used to show her medal winning cats and dogs at cruffs.  It’s sad to think she didn’t remember any of those things at the end of her life.

Dementia is hard for everyone who lives with a family member. I have picked to support this local ish  charity as they work and support people in Radford area with Dementia.

Many people admire my hair and granny dogs always commented on its length. So I will be cutting 25”(maybe more) of my hair and asking for donations to this Radford care Center. .

I will be donating my actual hair to The Princess trust ( they make wigs for children who have cancer)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
