Refugees from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and across the world are losing their lives trying to cross the sea in order to find safety in Europe.
Thousands have died and many have gone unaccounted for. Numerous requests have been made to Eden Care, a U.K based charity, to support refugees on the Greek islands.
A team of volunteers including myself will travel to Greece in mid April 2016 to support families including those who have lost their loved ones in the most tragic of circumstances
We plan to support local groups on the ground with the following help:
Purchase essential supplies to immediately assist refugees including rucksacks and mobile phone battery packs.
Partner with local agencies to provide specialist support including counselling.
Provide support to local communities effected by the crisis.
