Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. In all of our lives we are unfortunately touched by this awful disease in some way, shape or form.

I am running in memory of one of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing, Barbara Henderson. Anyone who knew Barbara would definitely agree that she truly was a ray of positivity. My own family has also been affected by cancer over the last year with my father continuing to fight his battle against prostate and secondary bone cancer.

I am by no means a runner and this will be an exceedingly tough challenge but the thought that I am helping to make a tiny difference in the lives of those suffering with this ugly disease will aid me to overcome this marathon. If you feel you could spare any donations towards this cause to help me reach my goal I would be extremely grateful.
