On Saturday 3 July #TeamHandelsbankenLeedsEmbankment are
hiking 13 miles, in memory of Hannah, to raise money for people living with cancer.

We chose this challenge as we are very aware of theconsequences that the Coronavirus pandemic has had on the normal fundraising pattern of charities such as Macmillan, when funds are required more than ever. 

Macmillan is a charity very close to our hearts as we have
seen first-hand the brilliant help and support that is offered to families
dealing with the devastating impact of cancer via our dear colleague whose
wife Hannah sadly battled with this terrible disease. 

It is fair to say that the three ladies of the team are not regular
hikers and have never walked this distance before, luckily as our branch First
Aider we are hopeful that Mike will be able to patch us up and help us hobble
to the finish.

We would be so grateful of any donation you feel able to
make, however big or small, safe in the knowledge that it will enable Macmillan
to continue supporting families like Hannah’s and spur us on to complete the
challenge.
