Rupert and I have come to the end of one of the most challenging cycle rides I think we have done. We cycled 147 miles over the Lake District and North Pennines to get from the Irish Sea to the North Sea. It was cold, windy and wet but also a LOT of fun! If you are still thinking about sponsoring us, this is why we did it...
We are raising money for some amazing people in Uganda. I visit a hospital every year. This is a community based hospital based in the Luwero district which aims to glorify Jesus and impart a definite Christian witness to the area. While I visit Uganda I also go to an incredible children's home run by Shadrach. This home now has 48 children all of whom are being raised with God at the centre of their lives. Shadrach's brother, Daniel is also building a home for people with physical disabilities and do not have enough money for a home for themselves.
These are all really important projects and any money I raise through this cycle ride, I will see being put into action when I go back to visit in April.
