Autism is a serious, lifelong and disabling condition. Without the right support, it can have a profound - sometime devestating - effect on individuals and families. But it simply doesnt get the attention it deserves, which means that people affected by autism dont get the help, support and understanding they need.

Autism is much more common than people think. There are over half a million people in the uk with autism - thats around 1 in 100. If you incude their families , autism touches the lives of over 2 million people every day.

The national autistic society is the UK's leading charty for people affected by autism and i have chosen to raise funds for NAS because of my families own experiences of the invaluable support and advice they provide.

I will be cycling from London to Paris covering 320km in just 3 days.
