This year I have decided to set myself a fundraising target of €1000 for Aware in memory of my cousin by completing multiple charity runs/challenges. I want to increase both the awareness and support shown towards those who are struggling amidst a cloud of darkness. Each one of us can be and probably already have been through times when we feel low in our lives but what's gets us through is the reaction from those around us, and how open their eyes are to acknowledging another persons troubles.
My fundraising page will remain live throughout the year and I will be posting updates before each event (suggestions for my first event in March/April/May are welcome!). Other events will include both Hell 'n' Back's, the Women's Mini Marathon, the Aware Christmas Run, and hopefully pub quiz and a cake sale somewhere in the mix too.
It would be great to get off to a good start so please donate what you can now in advance of my first challenge, no amount is too small and they can be made anonymously!
