I have recently run my first half marathon and my next challenge was to complete the Brighton marathon in April. It has now been postponed for a second time due to Covid but I have decided to still go for it on my own and do a virtual marathon on 3rd October. My motivation for this is to help raise money for a charity very close to my heart which needs support. 

The Chartwell Cancer trust is a local charity which works to make improvements to cancer care for patients- adults and children- across the Bromley Borough, South East London and Kent. 

Cancer is an illness which effects so many lives each day and I am very fortunate to say that the care provided for my mum at the Chartwell unit helped her to  full recovery. I hope the funds I raise can help many more people in my area to recover in the same way.
