Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name  is Hannah Weir, I live in West Sussex and I work for AFS/ the School Minibus Company; located in Arundel.

I want to give back to a hospital that has given me so much help, support and advice throughout my ongoing treatment.

In November 2013 I was diagnosed with an an aneurysmal bone cyst and referred from Worthing Hospital to RNOH. I simply found it by accident after being down the beach.

I was referred to Professor Brigg's clinic located in Stanmore, Brockley Hill and Bolsover Street, London. Here I received the most incredible treatment for something so rare.

Professor Briggs is the most amazing person I have ever had the honour of meeting and anyone else who has met him will agree.

RNOH is situated on a hill which is rather ironic as it's an orthopedic hospital. RNOH was founded in 1905 and is the location for treatment of complex or rare conditions including mine. I'm one in a million.. I'm also the first female in medical history to have my ABC in a bone in my pelvis..

I wont bore anyone with any more details about myself, as I'm doing it for everyone I have ever met at RNOH, the incredible staff, the friends i have made and for people who one day will receive the most incredible treatment there.

Thank you so dearly to everyone at The Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, this one is for you.
