Fundraising for Diabetes UK
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After losing my granddad on December 24th 2014, I knew this year I had to run the Great North Run for Diabetes UK. My granddad was one of the most amazing people you could ever meet and would do anything for anyone. You couldn't meet him and not love him! On December 20th I went to visit my gran and granddad and he was as happy and well as anything. However by the 22nd, he started to feel ill and put it down to simply 'a bug' and by Christmas eve of last year his life was taken by complications caused by his diabetes. I don't think many people realise how fast diabetes can take hold and how horrific the consequences can be to those who have it and those who love someone who suffers from it it and I'd love to raise as much money as possible to help this cause as not only do so many other people around the world suffer and have to adjust their lives to fit around their diabetes, my other granddad does also. So please donate, even a small amount can make a difference and thank you.
