Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is a local independent charity supporting people over the age of 50 to lead healthy and active lives. It's our mission to improve lives of older people in and around Lincoln and South Lincolnshire so they live safe and independently at home.

Happy Together - Quarantine short film

In order to raise money for Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire and their Emergency Coronavirus Appeal, the Director, Oscar Hewitt (who grew up in Lincolnshire and has recently graduated from East15 drama school) has co-written, directed, filmed and edited a short-film completely over Zoom.

Happy Together follows the heart-rending but uplifting story of an elderly couple - Harold and Dot - who are having to quarantine and live separately for the first time in their married lives. Due to Dot showing early symptoms of Covid-19, they have to celebrate their anniversary on a video call. You see the characters struggle with the daily difficulties that many seniors constantly battle, as well as new issues brought on by the pandemic.
