In memory of Harold Riley
We need to keep our holiday camp open to allow children to have a seaside holiday

Story

Following the recent death of the Salford artist Harold Riley, the family would like to thank everyone for their kind messages of sympathy and support.

As the funeral approaches, in lieu of floral tributes, the family are asking for donations to the Salford Children’s Holiday Camp, a cause that was close to Harold Riley’s heart and one he had supported for many years.

Salford Children's Holiday Camp offers holidays to children in poverty within Salford and Greater Manchester.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Salford Children's Holiday Camp provides seaside holiday accommodation for up to 60 children and their carers. Meals are provided for all groups to ensure that our guests can make full use of their time on Camp. We also have two indoor games rooms, a large children's play area and lots of space for football, rounders or other games. Since the loss of Local Authority funding and support, the Management Committee has worked tirelessly to ensure that the Camp remains open for the next generation of children and young people to enjoy a visit to the seaside that they may not otherwise be able to access. Please donate to support our cause.
