Sahara digital detox trek · 25 September 2015

Every day in the UK, 99 people in their 20s, 30s and 40s are diagnosed with cancer. Trekstock provides movement, exercise and wellbeing support designed to help people in this age group stay active, connected and confident as they navigate life alongside cancer.

Story

On 25th September 15 I will be flying to Ouarzazate to start my 7 day  Trek in the Sahara desert in aid of Trekstock.
We will be trekking an average of 7hours per day with our team and all our gear. It's going to be the toughest challenge I have ever done and is going to require some serious endurance. I am training everyday as much as I can for this.

Trekstock is such an inspiring and creative charity that I have become become very fond of. So many young adults around the same age as me have suffered, and are suffering from cancer. Friends, loved ones, strangers- I want to do my part to help support them. I hope you will feel inspired from their stories, as well as your own personal stories...please dig deep and help support them too.

I am covering all my own costs myself, 100% of the money raised will be donated to Trekstock, this will help them with the research they do in conjunction with Cancer research for non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, as well as supporting their online support network THRIVE.

Lots of love and thanks
Harriet
