CHOPPING OFF MY HAIR! · 17 May 2012

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

I've decided to chop off my luscious locks and give them to the Little Princess Trust - they give wigs to children and teenagers who've lost their hair through alopecia or cancer treatment.  Because they're made of real hair, these wigs can be straightened or curled for under-age nights out, and even have BAD HAIR DAYS - a special rite of passage that no kid should miss.

I thought that, while I'm at it, I'd give all you lovely people the opportunity to chip in, and raise a bit of money towards wig fitting and styling, and the support the Trust provides during that inevitably emotional time.

Thank you all so much xxxxxxxxx
