Hi!

In January 2018 I will be going to Zanzibar on an International Citizen Service placement to support a Youth & Employment project being delivered by VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) to help with their mission to end poverty. 

For 3 months, I will be working alongside the Ministry of empowerment, social welfare, youth, women and children on a project focusing on youth and employability in Zanzibar. 

The aim of this project is to lower the high youth unemployment rate in this area by helping young people to gain the skills they need for employment and building links between employers and young people looking for opportunities. 

This is a cause that I really believe in and I am so excited to work on this project; Every young person deserves the chance to access internships, employment and enterprise opportunities to better their future.

My flights and expenses have already been paid for, so all donations go DIRECTLY to the charity.
