1 in 5 adults are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus - so this is such an important cause which touches the lives of millions, and which I'm proud to support. To give you a flavour of RNID's mission, here are my top five highlights from just the last year.

    1. Over 100,000 people have checked their hearing with our free online hearing check 

    2. We've given tailored practical support to over 30,000 people across the UK

    3. We helped prevent hearing loss in up to 200 babies a year

    4. We’ve successfully campaigned for the BSL Act to become law

    5. We've published a range of guidance on accessibility, from workplace to technology.
