East Sussex WRAS was established as a voluntary group in 1996, but founder Trevor Weeks has been rescuing wildlife since 1985. The charity was set up to provide a front-line rescue & hospital service for people finding wildlife casualties as well as offering advice and information.

Story

Hello! In October I'll be running the London Marathon for East Sussex WRAS, a small charity that helps people who find sick, injured and orphaned wildlife across East Sussex. Every year WRAS receives between 2-3,000 calls for help. Their work makes a huge contribution to the protection of threatened species like hedgehogs and birds of prey. The charity has lost thousands of pounds of funding during the pandemic, but animals still need our help! Any donation, big or small, could make a difference and help to conserve Britain's fantastic wildlife.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
