2010 Bupa Great Yorkshire Run · 5 September 2010 ·
Hellooo, thanks for visiting :) On September 5th, Harry Banks and Ben Carr will be doing some running (steady jogging... power walking..)
for charity alongside people doing the Great Yorkshire Run - which is
like the great north run... but better as its in Yorkshire.. and about 6 miles
shorter haha. Its 10km and me and ben will be needing life support
machines after the race.
Anyway, the charity which we will be
running for is beat. beat is the leading UK charity for people with
eating disorders and their families. This charity campaigns for better
services and treatment, and provides information and support to those
that need it.
The reason why we are running for this is that its
very close to our hearts, and im sure its the same for a lot if not
most of you reading this, so i wont go into it. When we found out we
felt there was nothing we could do and a bit helpless, which im sure
most of you also felt. So now there is a chance for you to do something
:) this can be via donating, running yourself, making us get out of bed
to actually train, or to stop me eating greggs cream doughnuts and ben
going to the pub.
So if you do come across this page, please do
donate. Even if its just a pound as it will still contribute towards our
target and will be helping so many people across the UK.
To
donate please go on http://www.justgiving.com/Harry-Banks or donate to
us in person :)
Thank you again! All the love, Harry and Ben x
