Story
On December 2, I will brave the heat, humidity, and monkeys to run my first ever half marathon through the Angkor Wat temples. Training has already started, but I need your support to keep me going!
I'm running with Friends because their work makes a huge difference. I've been working on Friends-International programs in Cambodia for one year now, and everyday I see how the team saves lives and builds futures for the most vulnerable and marginalized. This is a country where 40% of the country still lives just above the poverty line. Progress is happening, as every year we support 1,200 children to go back to school, 650 youth attend vocational training, and 450 people gain secure and dignified employment. Your help will make Friends' work go even further in 2019! Here is how:
- $25 - one school kit for a child to go to school for a year
- $50 - one month of vocational training for a young person
- $250 - all costs for someone to start-up their own small business, and build their own future for themselves and their family!
What you give will help me cross the finish line on the big day. More importantly though, it will create a real impact in the lives of children, youth, and their families.
Thank you,
Harry x
