I will be running the Hastings Half Marathon in aid of Just One Ocean on the 24th March this year.

Due to three and a half years of excess alcohol consumption and little regard for personal fitness at university, I will have started training in near the worst shape of my life with near enough zero fitness.

Why do I put myself through this? Because I'm trying to raise money for Just One Ocean. Ocean conservation is a cause very close to my heart, a cause that I'm willing to devote my future toward, and a cause that, now more than ever, needs all the help it can get. Our oceans like me are in very bad shape, I want the next generation to still be pointing out their favourite fish in the ocean, not their favourite plastic bottle. I want in ten years for our ocean's to still home the Great Barrier Reef and other coral reefs which represent some of the areas with the richest biodiversity on the planet.

We need the oceans for our survival, and our oceans need charities like Just One Ocean for theirs. So please give what you can to help ensure the future of one of our planet's most valuable resources.
