Following the mighty efforts of the 'Hatchers Welsh Bridge Warriors' in last year's championships, the team are back and ready for action. This year Jack Latham, Georgia Wakeley, Dan Tudor and Matthew Bowering return as the 'Hatchers Hatchlings'.

On the afternoon of Friday 15th September, they will take part in the 2017 World Coracle Championships, to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Racing takes place at the Pengwyrn Boat Club, against the beautiful backdrop of Shrewsbury Quarry, where spectators are invited to support and help raise funds for Macmillan.

There are currently 17,000 people affected by cancer in
Shropshire. Macmillan are here to help those people and their friends &
family, supporting them and ensuring that no-one faces cancer alone.
