The Hayer's and Kandola's have united to raise money for bowel cancer for Cancer Research UK by participating in the Shine 26 mile night-time walking marathon in London on 28/09/13.

This is in memory of our dear Dad, Grandad and Uncle who fought a courageous battle against bowel cancer, up until two months ago when sadly he passed away. It's the hardest thing we have ever had to go through and it's only until it affects someone you love when the reality of cancer kicks in. 

Each day in the UK, around 110 people are told they have bowel cancer. Thanks to improvements in diagnosis and treatment, the number of people surviving for five years or more has more than doubled in the last 40 years. But sadly, bowel cancer still claims around 44 lives each day.
