Story

Have a look at the stupid challenge I am attempting!!

if you could take the time to read and share my page it will be gratefully appreciated!! #DryFry

So.... as some of you might be aware that at the back end of 2014 a bomb was dropped when my mum was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.

After a sucessfull operation to remove the 3 tumors (yes 3!!! 2 individual ones in each ovary and one in the womb lining weighing in at a whopping 1stone in total!) mum is currently recovering well and for the time being has avoided chemotherapy but with the operation, this has knocked her for six!

With the support that we as a family received throughout the whole of the back end of 2014, I thought I would give something back and none more fitting than Macmillan Cancer Support who do a amazing job supporting not only the people suffering from Cancer but their loved ones as well

So... now the challenge I am attempting!! This has received mix reviews from people who are already aware but I am attempting to stay off alcohol for the whole of 2015!! #DryFry

Yes, you heard it right! NO ALCOHOL FOR 365 DAYS!!! Being someone who enjoys a social drink whilst watching rugby or attending the races this is no easy task especially when we are in a Rugby World Cup year on home soil!!!!!!

I know, I'm mad, but if I can achieve this and reach the goal I have set of £2,000, I know this will make a difference to all those affected by cancer

So firstly, thanks for taking the time to read my story and secondly if you are in a position to donate a small amount I will really be gratefully for all support received!!

I may still do a stupid physical activity later on this year and currently looking at which one is best...... so watch this space......

Many thanks,

Hayden
