Matt died on the 6th March 2022, age 47, after a heroic battle with cancer. In the past Matt has raised money for War Child, when he's attempted (and inevitably succeeded!) in one of his various outdoor challenges. So it seemed appropriate, with everything that is going on in the world at the moment, that we should raise money in his memory and donate it to this very worthy cause. 

During March 2022 War Child are running their Unlock a Generation appeal and for every pound donated  to them until the 31st March, the UK Government will match fund our donations -  so the money we raise will go twice as far.
