The Cookie Jar Foundation do lots of fundraising for various different things, one of the things they are fundraising for at the moment is a Vein finder for Ward 34 at the Victoria Hospital and this is what Brodie has chosen to donate to. Her Uncle (my brother) had Leukaemia and spent a great amount of time in hospital for his treatments and has said many times that finding a vein could be a painful process. The vein finder would help ease some of the pain of treatments that cancer patients receive. Brodie will be taking part in a sponsored haircut and is really keen to donate her hair to The Little Princess Trust who makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to having Chemotherapy with all funds raised being donated to The Cookie Jar Foundation. Any donation no matter how big or small would be greatly received and go a long way to helping Brodie reach her target amount.
