Story

It's the big Race day

The volleyball nets are up, the Pizza oven is fired up and the beers are chilling

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, we  are looking forward to seeing you later

This race came about one evening following a few too many.  Chris had commented to Paul how quickly he had biked from The Bells of Peover to The Crown when they had left at the same time.   This sparked some friendly banter and Chris jokingly challenged Paul to a race.

Unfortunately for Chris, Paul remembered.

On Saturday 3rd September @ 12 pm, a 4-mile challenge has been planned from the Bells of Peover to the Golden Pheasant and back

The question is who will win?

Raising money for kidneys for life is very important to Paul, who was a living donor in September 2018 for his son Charlie.

The support from Chris (Vikki, family & friends) getting behind this race is fantastic and a great way for the Peover locals to enjoy a fun and relaxed afternoon.  Firstly watching the race followed by an afternoon of family fun with more competitions including volleyball, table tennis, splat the rat, throw the Wellie, and more.....

Also included

Bar.  Homemade Pizza by chef Andy Dale & BBQ with Burgers & Sausages supplied by Ken Webb.

About Kidneys for life.

A large number of the population have chronic kidney disease and this is only going to get worse as we put on weight and live longer. Whilst it is more likely to affect you when you get older, all ages are at risk and can develop kidney failure needing dialysis and possibly a kidney transplant. We are looking for kidneys to last a lifetime with our research.
