Healthy Pets are raising money for White Lodge centre in this year's Give Back Day!

White Lodge provides services and support that enable those with a range of disabilities, their families and carers to lead fulfilling lives. The charity supports over 2,500 individuals across Surrey and beyond through a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities. White Lodge is based on a wonderful two acre site in Chertsey in three specialist buildings with great facilities and highly experienced staff to best enable those with disabilities to reach their potential.  It costs over £2.6 million a year to run and the costs are not fully met by statutory funding, so they do rely on voluntary donations to maintain vital services.

This is a charity close to the hearts of Healthy Pets' employees after a colleague's grandchildren's baby brother was was born with Septo-opticdysplasia, with open lip schizencephaly and bilateral polymicrogyria.

Less than 1% are born with these conditions.  Lucas was born blind, and has many developmental issues including developmental delay, diabetes, and epilepsy.

White lodge has been a life line for the family offering support, physically through physiotherapist sessions, getting the right equipment, and emotionally.
