Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April 2016 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which was certainly not part of my life plan. So here we are, carrying out Plan B, which turned out, amongst other things, to contain eight rather unpleasant treatments of chemotherapy. Chemo knocks a big hole through any ideas you may have of doing physical activity, so you tend to end up thinking - thinking about; how rubbish you feel, how glad you are that there are skilled and sympathetic people to help you, how you’d like to put something back, how you’d like to do something active again……which is how I came to be signed up to this ride. I really want to do something positive - would you please consider helping me make my contribution as effective as it can be? I’ll provide some cash, time, a bike, sweat, tears, pain, bunions and blisters and I hope that may inspire you to donate to my cause and help so many others that find themselves in a similar situation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
