William's Cycle Ride · 16 October 2014

Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices provide 24 hour care to more than 360 life limited and life threatened children and young adults from across central southern England. We offer respite, community, emergency, end of life and post bereavement care on good days, difficult days and last days.

Story

On the 16th of October six year old William Howells will be setting off on another sponsored bike ride, this year to raise money for Naomi House children's hospice. Last year William cycled 50 miles from his home in Hungerford to Bath along the Kennet and Avon canal raising money for Leukaemia and lymphoma Research. This years ride will be starting from Reading and end in central  Bristol and will be approx 100 miles. The ride will take in parts of national cycle route 4, the Kennet and Avon tow path and the disused railway Bath to Bristol cycle path. Williams dad will be cycling with him during the ride, carrying supplies and offering support but William will be completing the ride entirely under his own steam from start to finish. William is hoping to complete the ride in three days.
