Heather Ward is an 18 bedded female only ward at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit in Leicester.

This July our staff team will be taking part in a 5-a-side tournament at goals Leicester to raise money and awareness for mental health.

We are trying to raise money to provide our ladies with more meaningful activities and better equipment. this will go a long way for a long time in enabling our ladies to feel better about themselves, promoting wellbeing whilst on the ward and learning the skills to take with them on discharge.

Currently on the ward we have activities which are already promoting well-being, although with very minimal funding we have a low stock of pampering equipment and some very important groups having to be cancelled due to lack of funds we would like to raise enough money to keep these very important groups going.
