On 7th September my 7 year old son and I will be running in the Simply Health Mini Tees event to raise money for PKD Charity UK. 

The charity is the only one of its kind in the UK. They offer support to those diagnosed and their families, as well as funding groundbreaking research. 

PKD is the most common, life threatening inherited disorder of the kidneys. In the UK over 70000 adults and children suffer from the genetic disease,  sadly there is no cure, but PKD Charity UK is working to change that! 

I have PKD and my parents sadly lost a newborn to this disease. I believe in a future with a cure, and a future of long life and good health.
